VTAR was formerly known as Institute Jayadiri which was founded in 1992 as a community project of KOJADI and conducts its classes in some shoplots in Old Klang Road. Then in 2000 Institute Jayadiri was relocated to Wisma MCA and renamed Kojadi Institute. In 2014, the President of MCA approved the relocation of Kojadi Institute to Tunku Abdul Rahman University College in Setapak, Kuala Lumpur in the hope that this new premise will have a more conducive environment for the students. Here we are today, with MCA constant support, our dream has come true. A new beginning and a new name, VTAR INSTITUTE.

VTAR is currently conducting Electronic Equipment and Electrical installation for SKM Level 2 and Level 3. We will be offering DKM Level 4 for the Electronic course in 2016. SKM Level 2 for the Beauty Therapy course and the 4 months bakery course has already started at the end of 2015.
VTAR has also started the Hair Dressing Course to meet the demand for hair dressers in the beauty industry. We have also sign a MOU with Transworld University where our students will be able to further their studies to obtain styling and cosmetology degree in that famous university.

With these new programs, VTAR will be able to respond to the needs of both students and employers. Through these programmes, VTAR wants to prove that our youth can still have a meaningful and rewarding career even if he or she does not have many As or credits in the SPM examinations. I hope that all of you will help us to spread the news about VTAR’s new programs so that early school leavers and SPM leavers will be able to make better informed decisions about their future.
